Designed by Anderssen & Voll of NEDRE FOSS this wonderfully sculptural spoon is designed to hold 10 grams of medium grind coffee, suitable for drip coffee and for most pour over brewing tools.

I use this charming utensil almost daily in my kitchen. Wether for coffee, flour or as a ladle, this spoon is a delightful and practical object that stands confidently on your shelf (it does not enjoy being hidden away in a drawer!).

  • Nedre Foss is a Norwegian brand of Sustainable homeware objects rooted in Scandinavian design.

    The core of Nedre Foss is the notion of the Century Product and what they refer to as Sculptural Utility or bruksskulptur as they say in Norwegian. By this they mean objects that will serve you for at least 100 years, and where the sculptural qualities on one side and the utility aspect on the other, are equal parts of the function.

    Nedre Foss is directed by the design studio Anderssen & Voll. Founded by Torbjørn Anderssen and Espen Voll in 2009.

    Their goal is that the objects should last you for at least a hundred years. The idea of «The Century Product» grew from the rather self evident recognition that the premises for a sustainable object is better solved on a design level rather than leaving this responsibility to the manufacturer.
